About the role

We are looking for a System Test Engineer to drive Verification & Validation (V&V) efforts for Autonomous Driving. Your role will focus on ensuring execution and managing the test campaigns that ensure systems and components meet all required specifications, standards, and customer expectations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define testing criteria, develop test plans, and oversee the execution of both verification and validation processes. Your work will be critical to enable our development of a production-ready software for on-road vehicles.

In addition to your testing contributions, by working in our dynamic and customer-focused team culture, you will contribute to and learn from best practices in the automotive industry. We move fast and we focus on excellence, for our products and for our business. If you are hands-on and looking for a place to have a multiplying effect on making automotive systems a reality, Applied Intuition is the place for you!

At Applied Intuition, you will:

  • Set up Test Management for Autonomous Driving and lead efforts for test execution
  • Collaborate with system development teams to understand system requirements and define appropriate verification and validation plans
  • Utilize various testing methodologies and Applied’s tools to conduct functional, non-functional, regression, and performance testing in simulation and on-road
  • Analyze test results, identify issues and trends, and work with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems.
  • Document all V&V activities and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders
  • Provide release recommendation based on test results
  • Contribute to the overall safety case of the product

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Strong understanding of automotive systems and components, particularly in areas such as ADAS, infotainment, powertrain, and vehicle control systems
  • Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and processes related to automotive systems.
  • Experience with HIL and SIL testing environments
  • Experience in in-vehicle testing
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams

Nice to have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in V&V testing in the automotive industry
  • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ASPICE) and regulatory requirements

Don’t meet every single requirement? If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
